Meet Cheryl Freier

Cheryl Freier lives in Northampton, Massachusetts. She is currently a student at Holyoke Community College, studying developmental disabilities direct support to enhance her master’s degree in special needs. A longtime preschool teacher, Cheryl’s prose is grounded in care, patience, and the belief that stories can sustain us. She writes about her husband’s story of surviving Nazi Slovakia as a young boy—preserving family memory and honoring everyday bravery.

Quiet courage, lasting hope—see how the story stayed with readers, you can add your voice too.
